CMC can be used in water-based interior and exterior wall coatings instead of HEC, and has good cost performance. It is an economic multi-purpose additive that can be used in coatings. It has the functions of thickening, controlling leveling, water retention and maintaining dispersion stability. Compared with other cellulose ether products, it shows better splash resistance.
